a Mixed Reality game that transforms your environment into an interactive spaceship, linking physical rooms into a shared virtual experience. Players collaborate or go solo to navigate asteroid fields, defend against cosmic threats, and keep their ship running smoothly, using immersive mechanics powered by the 2Sync SDK.What I Did:
- Designed and implemented the Engineering Room's core mechanics using VR Interaction Framework (VRIF).
- Developed the asteroid collision system, including procedural asteroid generation, trajectory mapping, and dynamic collision detection.- Built the Teleporter system, enabling players to travel between rooms in the virtual starship.Disclaimer: My contributions were focused on an earlier proof of concept for the game, comprising approximately 10-20% of the current version.

mixed snow worlds (mR)

Transform your room into a snow filled world. Leveraging 2Sync’s framework, we were able to bring this world to live with a immersive and fun gameplay mechanic to open up new possibilities within the reality you live in!What I Did:
- Designed and implemented the Snow Gun mechanic, including physics-based interactions, responsive gameplay scripting, and dynamic VFX using Unity's Particle System.
- Developed the Snow Suction system with custom particle effects, shaders, and environmental interactions, as well as the Enemy Frozen mechanic with material swaps and behavior state changes.- Built the Gun Display and Scoreboard Display interfaces, leveraging Unity UI to provide real-time feedback and seamless performance tracking for players.

Magic and Music (VR)

Unity - C#


A VR roguelike spellcasting game where you play as a Bard, using your guitar to cast spells, wield magic, and defeat enemies. After each level, you gain a new spell or buff to expand your powers and adapt to ever-changing challenges.What I Did:
- Designed and developed the entire VR roguelike game from inception, using Figma/Notion for planning and implemented in Unity with OpenXR and VRIF for immersive VR experiences.
- Scripted over 3,000 lines of modularized C# code to create complex combat mechanics, enemy AI behaviors, and intricate spell interactions.- Optimized game performance to ensure smooth VR gameplay across multiple headsets, incorporating structured playtests and player feedback to refine mechanics.- Managed version control and collaborated with artists and developers, overseeing different project branches using Plastic SCM.

Project Centauri (VR)

Unity - C#


A VR PvE Shooter game where players battle waves of enemies using immersive VR weapon mechanics and dynamic interactions. The gameplay emphasizes fast-paced combat and strategic enemy engagements, powered by VR Interaction Framework (VRIF).What I Did:
- Scripted and optimized VR gun mechanics, integrating scriptable bullet types, modular design principles, and VRIF hand poses for seamless gameplay.
- Engineered and implemented dynamic enemy interactions, leveraging behavioral plan trees, Enum structs for state definitions, and animation blend trees with state-specific behavior scripts.- Designed and implemented quality-of-life features, including hand poses and other gameplay enhancements to elevate player experience.

Mixed reality solar system (MR)

Unity, Meta Quest Pro


A Mixed Reality experience of the solar system, delivered on Meta Quest Pro/Quest 2 for the UIC Astronomy Club’s involvement fair. The project generated significant interest from both professors and students, showcasing the wonders of our solar system in an interactive way.What I Did:
- Sole developer and designer, utilizing Unity and Notion/Figma for the project’s planning and execution.
- Recreated the solar system using Oculus SDK, delivering an immersive experience on Meta Quest Pro/Quest 2 for the UIC Astronomy Club's involvement fair.- Wrote C# scripts to enable interactions with planets, including grabbing and touching mechanics, along with world space UI and button functionality.- Applied strong problem-solving skills to tackle technical challenges, ensuring a smooth user experience, and collaborated closely with the UIC Astronomy Club to help promote their campaign using their telescope images.

MY STORY

As a kid, I was always fascinated by technology and loved figuring out how things worked. Whether it was taking apart gadgets or experimenting with computer programs, I couldn’t get enough. Fast forward to university, I dove into computer science at UIC, where I discovered a passion for immersive tech. One of my favorite projects was Magic and Music VR, a game where you cast spells with a guitar—combining creativity and technical problem-solving.Now, I’m the co-founder of SpaceTime, where I mix entrepreneurship with creativity, crafting refreshing energy drinks designed to inspire. Alongside that, I work in IT at Kasif Khowaja Law Firm, ensuring tech systems run smoothly. Whether it’s building virtual worlds or energizing people through drinks, I love creating things that make an impact.
